ABOUT US

Imagination and heart are the two main ingredients in creating a successful piece of art whether it’s the next Mona Lisa, the next Thriller, or the next Citizen Kane. The sad reality is, in this day and age, artists aren’t always given the free reign necessary to sustain their heart and imagination. There are many reasons for why this happens; money equals power being a major one; that are out of the artists’ control. In college, I saw what happens when such a travesty unfolds and how the audience ultimately suffers because those involved in the production were either hindered by circumstance or had to compromise with the money side to even have a film. For whatever the reason, whether it is that those with the money don’t trust anyone or that artists are so close-minded in their vision that they don’t look at everything and everyone around them, art as whole has suffered for the general audience. Sure there’s always a Guardians of the Galaxy or ARTPOP, but that doesn’t speak to the little projects that either don’t get noticed due to politics are art that is sacrificed because someone of power made the artist compromise. This needs to change.

Here at Fight On Entertainment, we are putting those evils to bed. I want to create a safe haven for artists to explore without restraint their creative side in order to make compelling, provocative, and entertaining art. Fight On Entertainment has been designed to nurture the needs of artists so they don’t have to compromise, they can just be. In doing so, they’ll produce new work that is even better than the ones that the wrong reasons have dictated to be a successful invention of art.

At school, the faculty practiced the studio system on the student filmmakers. The majority of the teachers had those experiences to pass on. But what if we didn’t want to enter the studio system right away if at all? I mean, studios make up most of the current box office. Remakes, reboots, and sequels conquer the box office. I'm okay with them existing and I don't blame someone for wanting to tell a story already done or continue a character's journey, but where are those originals like a STAR WARS or ET or THE SEARCHERS or even CITIZEN KANE? Don’t we need someplace where we can invent those? Some have tried to, but too many don't get the spotlight they deserve even if they are classified as “successful.” “Successful” isn’t enough when you can become a classic, but we accept “successful.” This has to end, and not just in film but in all arts.

Everyone has to start somewhere, why not here? We promote artists to be different and aspiring to bring about a new golden age in creative thinking.
