In 2013, I graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Filmmaking and a specificity in directing. Between school and now, I have over a dozen shorts that I have directed including my thesis film U666, which was a higher end sci-fi short. I spent the last part of school and the first months after graduation filming my feature film debut IN CRITICAL CONDITION. On the film, I was director, writer, producer, First AD (uncredited), actor, and sound operator (uncredited). The film was made on budget of 10K and was an action crime film about a group of adult adolescents, led by the number two of a crime family, who try to survive the worst of their sociopathic crime boss who’s stuck in a downward spiral. The film went on to accolades from NYC Filmmakers, Los Angeles International Film Festival Awards, Asheville Film Fest, and more before being repped by Glen Reynolds and Circus Road Films. Circus Road got us a distribution deal with Ted Chalmers and Summer Hill Entertainment. The film can now be found online at Best Buy, Walmart, and more as well as streaming on Amazon Prime. On Amazon, the film sold out twice on its DVD launch in 24 hours.
On the writing side, I have received recognition from such prestigious festivals as Cinequest, NYC Horror Film Festival, Oaxaca, and NYC Independent Film Festival. I have a variety of screenplays polished and ready to be produced. Some of them include Rogue Hero, a family superhero movie; SURVIVE, a zombie film; and The Swole Life, a half hour comedy pilot. I also have a collection of short stories released on Amazon entitled Love, AH GEEZ, which can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NGDSCH3.
My largest undertaking has been Polybius (Based on the urban legend, a teenaged girl named Jennifer tries to convince Sheriff Atkins that a new arcade game placed by the ‘government’ caused her brother to commit suicide). The feature has a proof of concept short starring Horror Icon Tom Atkins (The Fog, My Bloody Valentine 3D). The 17minute film was directed, coproduction, and cowrote by me and has a feature script and sequel script ready for preproduction. The short, on its own, has over 10k trailer views and received press from such distinguished horror sites as Bloody Disgusting, Geeks of Doom, and Dread Central. Lately, I have been sending out emails to companies asking them to view the short, the screenplay, and the pitch deck. The film has also been recognized by HorrorHound Film Festival (as part of the largest horror con in the USA and accompanied Tom Atkins as he received a legends award), Gen Con, Sanford International Film Festival, Halloween International Film Festival, Hot Springs International Horror Film Festival, Oaxaca Film Festival, and Hollywood Verge Film Awards where it won Best Horror Short and was nominated for Best Overall Short and Best Sci-Fi Short.
Currently, my slate of film projects ranges from producing and directing shorts to writing features. To continue honing my writing skills, I am a professional script doctor and ghost writer with jobs including ghost writing a handbook for special education teachers. I also do video and commercial production. Since 2016, I have been directing, writing, and producing the yearly commercial campaigns for Gruenberg Kelly Della, a successful law firm on Long Island. My commercials play on Cable on such channels as ESPN, FX, and TBS. The commercials have since garnered over 100 million dollars for my customer’s clients in verdicts. You can find the commercials here: https://youtu.be/GKKMc-mme7o.
